Extending the shelf life

Packaging under vacuum extends the shelf life of products by removing the natural atmosphere, thereby slowing down the microbial deterioration of the product. The vacuum also fixes the product within the pack, allowing for protection from mechanical effects in the pack. At the same time, the volume of the packaging is reduced.

Benefits

Vacuum packaging can preserve the quality and freshness of food for a longer period of time. In these packs, oxygen is extracted from the pack, preventing the proliferation of oxygen-dependent micro-organisms and reducing the oxidation process.
